Lesley Thompson, is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer. She has trained in various styles of dance including ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, tap and modern dance. She trained at top studios throughout the country including The Edge Performing Arts Center, Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles, Broadway Dance Center in New York, The Rock Center for Dance in Las Vegas, and The Studios in Seattle, WA.
Lesley has danced professionally in many styles of dance, including ballet, contemporary, modern, and jazz dance throughout the country. She has performed with companies such as Idaho Dance Theatre and Off Center Dance. Her career has taken her throughout the greater Seattle area and Las Vegas as a professional dancer and model. In addition to performing Lesley has been a dance educator for over 20 years. She has shared her love of dance with students across the country. She has had the privilege of being on faculty at top dance studios throughout the Seattle area, Las Vegas, and Idaho.
In addition to dance, Lesley received her BA in Psychology from Boise State University. She also is a certified 200hr Yoga instructor in vinyasa and yin styles of yoga received in Seattle, WA. She has a barre certification through Barre Bohemian, and teaches aerial yoga and yoga plus. Lesley now resides in the Boise area where she continues to perform with in local variety shows and dance companies. You may have see her on stage with Dream team Variety, Femme Von Follies, Boise Circus Guild, Nightfall, A Velvet Cabaret, and Red Light Variety Show. Calling Boise her home has allowed Lesley to continue to spread her love of dance and movement to the community.
